About Home Support North
Home Support North is a charitable trust providing home care and support services across the Northland region, including Whangarei, the Far North, and Mid North. As a local, community-focused organisation, they offer both government-funded care and privately arranged support — or a combination of both — making their services accessible across a range of budgets.
Their service range is one of the most comprehensive available in Northland, covering personal care, palliative care, dementia care, respite care, sleepover care, 24-hour support, cancer care, post-operative care, meal preparation, cleaning, shopping help, transport, medication reminders, companionship, and social support.
Home Support North also offers Individualised Funding support for eligible clients, helping people design their own care package with greater flexibility and control. An after-hours line is available seven days a week for existing clients.
Offices are located in Whangarei and Kerikeri, with services extending across a wide network of Far North and Mid North communities.
