About Healthcare NZ

HealthCare NZ has been providing home care and community support across Aotearoa since 1988 and is New Zealand's largest home care provider by staff, with over 7,500 health professionals working in communities nationwide.

Services for older people include personal care, household assistance, meal preparation, medication management, and community support. Clinical services include nursing care for complex and long-term conditions. HealthCare NZ also provides disability support and rehabilitation services through specialist divisions.

Most services are government-funded and accessed through your local NASC — ask your GP or hospital for a referral, or contact HealthCare NZ directly to discuss your options. Private care is also available.

HealthCare NZ operates an online platform called My Homecare, which allows clients to schedule visits, choose preferred carers, and share care information with family members.
