Home Carers is a private home care agency based in Christchurch, founded in 2014 and now also serving Tauranga. The service is led by Paul McLaren and Louise Collins and focuses on older people who need more than basic support.

Care options include companionship, personal care, household assistance, meal preparation, respite care, overnight and sleepover support, hospital discharge transitions, and complex care for people living with dementia. All care is private and self-funded — no government referral is required. A minimum visit of two hours applies.

Home Carers emphasises consistent matching between clients and carers, aiming to send the same carer or small team wherever possible.
