About Nurse Maude
Nurse Maude is one of New Zealand's oldest and most trusted community health organisations, founded in 1896 and now employing over 1,200 staff making more than one million home visits a year. Services are available across Canterbury, Nelson-Marlborough, and Wellington.
Home support includes personal care, household assistance, meal preparation, and medication management. Community nursing provides clinical care at home — wound care, continence support, intravenous therapy, palliative care, and management of long-term conditions. All care is overseen by registered nurses and delivered in partnership with clients, their whānau, GPs, and other health professionals.
Nurse Maude also operates a 75-bed care home and hospice in Christchurch, specialist clinics, and a health and mobility shop.
