Access Community Health
One of New Zealand's largest home care providers — government-funded and private home care, nursing, and support services across all regions of Aotearoa since 1927.
About Access Community Health
Access Community Health has been providing home-based care and support across New Zealand since 1927. With a team of over 3,500 nurses, support workers, and health professionals, Access supports more than 40,000 people nationwide through both government-funded and privately paid services.
For older people, services include personal care, household assistance, meal preparation, medication management, and community participation support. Clinical services cover wound care, palliative care, continence management, and post-operative nursing. Access is also one of only four national providers of home-based care for ACC.
Government-funded services are accessed through a referral from your GP, hospital, or local Needs Assessment and Service Coordination (NASC) service. Private care can be arranged directly.
